History: LiVe venue was refurbished in late 2016 to replace the venues old ‘Foyer’ space. It’s a robust and intimate 5oo cap live music venue, situated in the heart and hub of the city.
How many people does it hold?
LiVe Venue itself holds 500 people standing and 350 people seated, it also acts as a promotional company to the Guild Halls other venues, the Grand Hall at 2750 capacity & the Charter Theatre at 720 All seated.

White Lies, The Strypes, Lee Scratch Perry, Sugarhill Gang, Hayseed Dixie, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, Mr Scruff, Wheatus, Hot 8 Brass Band, KRS-ONE, The Jam to name but a few.
Have there been any “I was there” moments?
In May 1989 The Stone Roses played the venue, the same month they released their seminal self-titled debut.
How do I get there?
The venue is on Lancaster Road opposite the Town Hall in the town centre. Preston is well served with local bus roots and the main train station is an 11-minute walk from the venue.

Dogs N Doughnuts is the venues own Gourmet hot dog and New York style doughnut restaurant. Serving a wide range of cocktails, craft and draft beers and a unique “create your own hot dog menu!” It is attached to the venue, so why not grab a bite and a booze, and head to the show!
