Who has played there?
Michael Bibi played the opening show, but that’s it! LWE are bringing the next set of shows with their Sphere series, beginning in February 2020.
Have there been any “I was there” moments?
This is a brand-new venue for London, so it’s all to play for. Sphere’s 360-degree immersive production is designed to bring the crowd closer together and should ensure plenty of standout moments.
How do I get there?
Magazine is a three-minute walk away from North Greenwich tube station, which is served by the Jubilee Line.
Buses 129, 161, 188, 422 and 486 all stop near the venue, and buses 108, 132, 188, 286 and 472 also run a 24-hour service.
The venue is a nine-minute walk from North Greenwich Pier, which runs regular boat services to/from Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, The London Eye and more.
Where should I eat?
Around the corner from the venue is The O2, where you’ll find a host of chain restaurants such as Nando’s, Wagamama, Chiquito, Byron, Five Guys, Gaucho and Wasabi.
We highly recommend taking a ten-minute stroll to The Pilot, a gem of a little pub that serves modern British food and great beers from across the globe.
