The Georgian Theatre is a 100% fully independent music venue; promoting a great live music programme all year round – set within a beautifully restored building dating back to 1766.

Who has played there? Arctic Monkeys, The Cribs, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, The Wonder Stuff, Public Service Broadcasting, Temples, The Skids and have showcased some of our area’s finest artists including Avalanche Party, Cattle & Cane and Cape Cub.
Have there been any “I was there” moments?
There have been many over the years, the Futureheads playing their ‘Rant’ album in full and being the only North East date on the tour was something special though. The band even threw in a surprising Black Eyed Peas cover.
How do I get there?
The closest train station is located in Thornaby and is 0.8m from the venue.
Taxis can drop off via Stockton high street. Ask the taxi driver to drop you off outside Yorkshire Bank, the venue 100 meters through the courtyard.
Busses will drop you off on Stockton High Street.
Unfortunately, due to the location of the venues, there are no private parking spaces. However, due to the proximity of the venue to the town centre, there are plenty of public car parks, the closest being Bishop Street car park about 200 meters from the venue.
