Rascalton, Declan Welsh & The Decadent West brought the heat on the coldest night of the year.
Irish singer-songwriter Chris Moncrieff.
Moncrieff grew up loving Soul and Blues music, his sound is a modern spin on these genres – driven by his stadium-sized vocal. He’s a talented musician and singer with alternative songwriting sensibilities, combining gritty Blues and Urban Pop influences to create a genre he refers to as neo-noir-soul.
For fans of George Ezra, Tom Odell and Hozier.
Moncrieff has been working as a recording artist and honing his craft in London over the past few years. He’s worked with some huge artists in that time – most notably when he earned himself a role as a backing vocalist for Adele. Yep, THE Adele … surely she only sings with the best.
His new release has been championed by the likes of Elton John and BBC Introducing. With two official live shows in New York and London under his belt, the UK’s premier new talent festival The Great Escape has come calling.
The debut single “Symptoms” which has garnered 90 thousand streams on Spotify.
Where can I see him live?
Moncrieff’s next show is the TicketWeb showcase at The Great Escape’s First Fifty festival. We can’t wait to hear that huge vocal live!
