Introducing: Ash Mammal

I’ve had it on pretty good authority that Ash Mammal’s live show leaves “your jaw in a permanent state of drop”.  Wanna know how?  Well read on, kind folk of TicketWeb blog land.

Cass Fifer – Vocals, Guitar
George Shaw – Guitar, Vocals
Jeeves Kanth – Bass, Vocals
Stan Greengrass – Percussion, Vocals

Ash Mammal are an effervescent Witch-Punk band. Combining their eclectic tastes into a violent and visceral sound, Ash Mammal uses the combination of punk, alternative and grunge. Their catchy guitar riffs, raw energy and haunting discordance creates music that peppers your heart and salts your loins.

Hailing from Leicester, these forbidden low hanging fruits needed no lie peddling snake. Everyone wanted a juicy bite. Eventually garnering the attention of the BBC, they were featured on Radio 1 and 6 Music. They did a live session which got over 80,000 views. After infiltrating the festival scene and releasing their debut album they are now sitting pretty in preparation for their third UK tour in May.

Check out ‘The Ghost We Caught on Film’ on Spotify, we’ve been told that ‘Brassy Throat’ and ‘Laid down after the Funeral’ have inspired several bank heists.

Otherwise, the aforementioned live video they recorded with BBC Introducing features songs ‘Axehead’ and ‘Fresh veined skin.’ If you want to watch them writhe around for a bit, those are a treat.
