Oh it’s going to be a good week! Below, we’ve picked out 7 shows that we reckon are worth checking out.
Monday – Muncie Girls @ Marrs Bar, Worcester
The three-piece punk-rockers wowed us at SXSW last month with their energy, message and their sheer brilliance. They’re an absolute force live.
Tuesday – Deafheaven @ O2 Institute Birmingham
One of the best metal bands in the game, the San Francisco rockers come across the pond for a full UK tour. Check out this article on why they’re bloody brilliant.
Wednesday – Touts & Rory Wynne @ The Camden Assembly, London
Trust us. Touts are going places. The Derry punks have been hotly tipped and their first London headline show is unmissable.
Thursday – The Hunna @ Manchester Academy
The Hertfordshire rockers are ridiculous amounts of fun to watch live. If you’ve not heard their debut album 100 yet you really need to fix that.
Friday – Japandroids @ O2 Institute Birmingham
You will not believe the amount of noise 2 people can make. The Canadian duo tour in support of their excellent new album Near to the Wild Heart of Life.
Saturday – Rat Boy @ O2 Academy Oxford
The Essex music maker who has been making waves with a reputation for a raucous live show heads out on his biggest ever headline tour. Kendrick Lamar is a fan and sampled him on Damn.
Sunday – Jake Isaac @ O2 Institute Birmingham
What a voice! If you need a soulful Sunday, Jake Isaac is the man to make to make it happen. Hopefully, he’ll be giving fans a preview of his new album Our Lives out in May.
