Who to watch at SXSW 2018 – Day 2 (March 13th 2018)

Austin is in full swing and we are back on the new music hunt. Day 2 is going to see us check out 5 female-fronted acts who are over here making waves...

Jerry Williams

9:00pm – 9:40pm, British Music Embassy @ Latitude 30.

TicketWeb One To Watch Jerry Williams reached the target for her Pledge Music campaign just before flying over to the states so we reckon she could be in the mood to celebrate and that’s gotta make for a great show. Portsmouth’s indie-queen kicks off our evening at the British Music Embassy. Read More.

Jade Bird

10:00pm – 10:40pm, Elysium

Last year’s South By was our first introduction to Jade Bird and we loved her so much we made her a TicketWeb One To Watch for 2018. Since that time she’s played a headline UK tour ending with a triumphant show at London’s Village Underground. Her unique take on FM Americana is the perfect soundtrack for a Texas evening. Anna Burch

10:20pm – 11:00pm, Valhalla

South By is all about seeing the best the States has to offer and this year that has to include Detroit native Anna Burch. Sounding like a blissed-out Best Coast she is literally 2 cool
