Don’t be fooled by the name. This North London venue situated just over the road from Camden Town tube station hosts an eclectic range of shows nightly. The much-loved venue has been going strong for over 25 years and has seen the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse, Bobby Womack and more grace its stage. Here’s what you need to know if you’re planning on walking through its doors anytime soon.

How do I get there? The venue is handily located less than 5 minutes walk from Camden Town tube station on the Northern Line, and less than 10 minutes walk from Camden Road overground station.

Where should I eat? The venue itself has its own restaurant on the mezzanine level, which can take reservations while live music is on. Inspired by the diverse music programme hosted at the venue, the restaurant’s menu is inspired by different cultures around the globe. We recommend the fried chicken with sweet potato mash.

TicketWeb Tip: For the best sound, stand right in the middle in front of the stage.

Where can you carry on the party? The Jazz Cafe hosts late-night club nights every Friday and Saturday night. Alternatively, wander south down Camden High Street to KOKO or north to any of Camden’s thousands of late night pubs and bars. We’re big fans of The Black Heart and The World’s End, both of which are just over the road.
