After operating the Castle Hotel & Eagle Inn for a few years the team behind the venues took over Gullivers in 2013, with the sole intention of providing a beautiful space for all musicians local and touring to be able to play with great sound quality and provide great service and atmosphere to all gig-goers and drinkers alike. 5 Years later they’re still going strong and the venue has become a favourite haunt for locals and visitors alike.

Michael Cera of Superbad fame played an acoustic show at the venue.
How do I get there?
Public Transport – Anything that gets into Piccadilly Gardens or Station. The venue is a short walk away.
By Car – Use the inner ring road and head onto Great Ancoats Street. The best parking is on Mason Street at M4 5FT
Where should I eat?
There are loads of options. Check out all the bars and restaurants on Thomas Street and Stephenson Square. The team at the venue recommend Koffee Pot for a quick bite and Fress for something a bit more upmarket. Both are pretty much opposite the venue.

Where can I stay?
There’s a Travelodge 2 minutes up the road on Great Ancoats Street or a great Hostel called Hatters just around the corner on Stephenson Square.
Get there early so you can enjoy the bar as well as the venue.
The main venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible as it is up a set of stairs. The Lounge space has a small step into it and they have a ramp if required. The venue has an accessible toilet on the ground floor. If you have any requirements please just email the venue and they’ll do their best to accommodate you.
