TicketWeb Ones To Watch 2015 – Becky Hill

You might recognise Becky from the first series of The Voice back in 2012, when she gave one of the most memorable first auditions of that series, and arguably of any of the series. Coming out singing John Legend’s Ordinary People, Jessie J and Will.I.Am, who wrote the song, scrapped over who would get her in their team, with Hill eventually choosing Jessie. After getting knocked out in the semi-finals, Hill disappeared for a little while, but The Voice had just strengthened Becky’s desire for success, and it wasn’t long before we saw her again.

Providing vocals for Wilkinson’s top ten smasher, Afterglow, last year, Becky has featured on Rudimental’s album, written for Bondax with MNEK and scored a number one alongside Oliver Heldens on the song of the summer, Overdrive. Not content with just contributing roles and a place in reality TV history, Becky has been coming on strong with solo releases since the Wilkinson release and is poised for even bigger things in 2015, which is why we’re tipping her as a one to watch!
