Cameron Esposito: Person of Consequence

Called the ‘future of comedy’ by legendary late night host Jay Leno, comedian, actor, writer, producer and podcaster Cameron Esposito brings her brand new tour ‘Person of Consequence’ to Soho Theatre for her first time headlining in the UK.

Cameron is co-creator and co-star of Take My Wife, a television series that has received rave reviews in The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Vulture and Indiewire. She also hosts her own podcast Queery, in which she interviews the brightest luminaries in the LGBTQ+ family exploring individual stories of identity, personality and the shifting cultural matrix around gender, sexuality and civil rights.

Queertet Celebrates Pride in London

Queertet brings together a collection of London’s finest LGBTQI+ musicians to present a unique evening celebrating everything queer about jazz. As part of their ‘Pride and Joy’ tour, which brings Queertet to venues around London during Pride in London week, they will explore the works of LGBTQI+ composers and musicians throughout the year (such as Cole Porter, Billy Strayhorn and Ma Rainey), and will shine the spotlights on this often-overlooked part of their lives. It promises to be an evening filled with joy, fun, community and togetherness – a unique party not to miss!

Sometimes you need some simple pleasures. Rave In A Pub is you and some world-class DJs having a party in an 18th century, intimate London boozer. Expect some non-pretentious, arms in the air raving upstairs and have a break from the chaos downstairs whilst having a (semi) relaxed pint.

This one is going to be the party of the year. With Jim Stanton, one of the DJs behind Horse Meat Disco, who spearheaded the disco resurgence in London all those years ago.

Expect to hear house, boogie to disco and everything in between.

ESDR Presents a Bristol Pride Special: Shangela

Shangela is the spitfire from the Haus of Edwards who just couldn’t be kept in her box, and now she’s bringing her fabulous self to Bristol! You can call her Laquifa, just don’t try and tell her she has a sugar daddy. She is a PROFESSIONAL and she’s coming to spill the T!

This expanded Bristol Pride edition of ESDR will be hosted by award-winning drag prince ALFIE ORDINARY. Their shows are performed club-cabaret style over two acts and we’ll be joined by extra special GUEST ARTISTS representing the best of UK drag talent (to be announced). SHANGELA will headline each act.
