SAY Awards Reveal This Year’s Longlist

Here's who's nominated for the prestigious Scottish Album Of The Year Award...

The long list of 20 albums nominated for the prestigious Scottish Album Of The Year Award was announced last night at a packed out King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow. 

Now in its seventh year, the eventual winner of the award will be announced on Thursday 6th September and pick up a £20,000 prize. 

Before the list of nominees were announced, there was live music in the form of a special collaboration between TeenCanteen’s Carla J.Easton and Honeyblood’s Stina Tweeddale, performing songs from each of their band’s catalogues, followed by a stunning set from Say Award alumni Emma Pollock. 

The albums’ shortlisted for this year’s SAY Award are…
