Playlist: Pirate Copy

Ten big tunes below ....

Mancunian Tech-House artist Pirate Copy just gave us a party playlist …. and it bangs. He’s playing Cream & Circus pres. Kaluki at The Asylum on April 28 and Blackpool Festival in July – come along and maybe you’ll experience some of these tunes on a vibing dancefloor.

You know when you’re in charge of the music at a session and the song selection pressure becomes all too much? Well, fear no more! Hit up this ten-song list from veteran producer and DJ Lee Spence AKA Pirate Copy. Save the tunes, blow your mates’ minds with the iPod dock and let the good times roll.

Take it away Pirate Copy:

Vibe Killers – Violator

I’ve been playing this tune on and off for nearly two years; I love the drum programming and love the Kendrick Lamar vocal sample – a great record.

Pirate Copy – Penina

This one came out in December but it seems to be getting more popular as the summer is arriving… It’s a sunshine vibe…

Sandy Huner Rare Tap (2000 And one Cut)

Dutch house from 2006 – really groovy house music that always gets people dancing.

Mella Dee – Techno Disco Tool

Sister Sledge-sampling house from 2017 – always lifts the mood and puts a smile on people’s faces.

Leon & Shaf House – Renegade 2017

Another huge tune from last summer, people may say it’s been rinsed but the dance floor says otherwise…

Serge Devant – Fearing Love feat Camile Saifya

Once this gets into your head it never leaves… have a listen!

Pete Zorba – Faker

My man Pete Zorba on the funky vibe.

Inland Nights – Long Time

A stone-cold classic for me, still sounds great after being released in 2000.

David Keno – Crackhouse

A big tune from David – I played this a lot on tour across America and people loved it.

Vermon Bara – Little Helper 310-6

Some wicked music coming from the Little Helpers’ camp, this is my favourite from this year.

There you have it, gang. Cheers Lee, you’re a top bloke!
