Meet RIVRS: the London-based Electro-Pop duo exploring the mysterious world of love via their sophisticated 90s inspired floor fillers…
Charlotte Malory and Finn Munro are the club night gurus who have recently joined forces to create their own sound-pad symphonies – a blend of the pair’s undeniable vocal skills and natural DJ talent.
Grimes, The Cure and Depeche Mode are all counted as influences by the pair, who have so far dropped covers of artists as diverse as Fleetwood Mac and Charlie XCX. Recently described as evoking the spirit of Everything But The Girl and Julio Bashmore; RIVRS have been guided by Years & Years/Hot Chip collaborator Mark Ralph. We think you’ll agree that should all make for an interesting listen.
Wrap your ears around “Friend Lover”; a club ready ode to unrequited love and the curiosities of being in the “friend-zone”.
Another track“Last Love” was launched on the New Faces II compilation from influential French label Kitsuné Records, resulting in RIVRS receiving massive label attention and eventually being signed by Atlantic Records. Check it out.

Just last week the band released the five track EP Falling. It’s their first extended play, here’s the title track and yep, you guessed it, it’s another absolute banger.
The addition of a drummer for the live performances adds another element to the already hard-hitting house flavoured synth pop. RIVRS adapt to venue vibes.
