New Music: Fekky

Let us introduce you to Fekky, one of the most exciting hip hop artists in the UK right now.

When he dropped the video for “Way Too Much” featuring Skepta in July it sent out a clear message. This is an artist that you need to keep an eye on, someone who is ready to compete with his American counterparts.

Endorsed by hip hop heavyweight The Game, who took the rapper on the UK leg of his tour in 2014, the South London rapper is currently putting the finishing touches on his debut album El Clasico. The anticipated record is set to feature appearances from some of the hottest UK MCs such as Dizzee Rascal, Wretch 32, Stomzy, Krept & Konan and of course Skepta. The album is due for release on the legendary Island Records.

The rapper has firm ambitions of achieving global recognition and replicating what the likes of US stars 50 Cent and Drake have achieved. Further superstar endorsement arrived when Kanye invited Fekky to be part of the now infamous “All Day” performance at this year’s Brit Awards.

Fekky has a great career ahead of him, we’ll be paying close attention.

Fekky will play his biggest London headline show to date at XOYO on Oct 27. Grab tickets HERE!
