Introducing: L.A.

Meet the Spanish rockers with one beast of a record...

Spanish rock band hailing from the island of Majorca fronted by the brooding Luis A. Segura ably accompanied by Pep Mulet (Guitar), Angel Cubero (bass) and Dimas Frías (drums).

The Sound

L.A make sunshine-drenched FM rock. Soaring guitars are layered over pounding drums and flawless vocals. Classic influences including U2, Bruce Springsteen and The Beatles ring through along with contemporary nods to the likes of habitual stadium-fillers Imagine Dragons.

“Where the Angels Go” from their latest record King Of Beasts shows you L.A. are all about.

The Story

The band aren’t actually named after the city of angels; L.A. are the initials of the band’s founding member and lead-singer Luis Alberto Fegura, a renowned Spanish musician who formed the quartet in Majorca in 2004. They’ve released a number of records  but their latest LP King Of Beasts looks like it could be their biggest yet and received strong critical reclaim as the band returned to their indie-rock roots.

A real force live, L.A. have toured with the likes of Band Of Horses, Franz Ferdinand, Placebo and played festivals such as Lollapalooza, Mallorca Rocks and SXSW.
