Keeping Hackney's nightlife alive with the best late night raves and cutting-edge acts. No messing about here, it's about to get very sweaty.
Gang, it’s time to go back indoors…….on Saturday 20 October the South West’s best tastemakers have come together to curate an excruciatingly good day-long gig-a-thon, all taking place in some of the best venues Bristol has to offer.
What’s Simple Things all about then?
Simple Things is an all-day celebration of the very best in contemporary live and electronic music, taking place at venues across Bristol. Now in its 7th year, the festival has grown to be regarded as one of the most important dates in the UK live music calendar.
Where’s it happening?
The programme is spread across a range of Bristol’s key live music venues and clubs, including the O2 Academy, SWX, Rough Trade, The Colston Hall Foyer and more.
The daytime bill is topped by Drake-endorsed South London rapper Octavian and Slowdive – one of British guitar music’s most enduring forces.
There’s some incredible variety on display at this one-dayer. Don’t miss rising Australian indie-rockers Rolling Blackouts or the insanely talented Kamaal Williams.
