Autumn has arrived and festival season is a distant memory... Or is it? First Fifty is here to save us from the doom and gloom.
Field Day has a brand new home! The festival heads north of the river this year and they’re bringing a whole lotta fun with them. Here’s what you need to know!
What’s Field Day then?
Field Day has been a staple of the London festival scene for 12 glorious years. It’s all going down on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 June 2019.
As a festival, Field Day prides itself on offering an excellent day out complete with top-notch food options, endless drink choices, hilarious individual and group activities and above all else an eclectic mix of the best artists on the music festival circuit. This year is no different, the line up is cleverly diverse and there’s something for every musical taste.
The festival has a new site this year and it’s going to be ridiculous.
Where’s it happening?
Field Day is heading to North London! The festival is taking over an old gas works in Meridian Water this year. The new location is made up of a huge ten-acre outdoor space with four giant interlinked warehouses. The festival’s move means Field Day can go on until the early hours of the morning, later than any other festival in the capital this year.
Here’s a map showing the festival’s new location and travel times across London.
