CloseUP Festival is going down in East London THIS Saturday. Yep that’s right, you have a few days to round up the troops – tell them they’ll be marching in to an all day festival of bands, booze and banter. Let’s be avvin ya.
What makes for a great city music festival? Well the team behind CloseUp Festival 2017 have certainly pondered that question a lot, but by jove we think they’ve got it!
If the answer is an amazing venue in one of London’s most bustling neighbourhoods, at an impulse-friendly cost, then TICK! CloseUp takes place at Hoxton Square’s Bar & Kitchen on Saturday 13th May filling two stages for a full day of live music from midday til late, all for the easy-on-the-overdraft price of £15.
Who’s Playing?
The Close Up team have for years been champions of the best new talent the UK has to offer through their regular Brighton monthly; so if a bleeding-edge line up is what gets you out of bed and down the front, this year’s performers are not to be missed. There’s everything from guitar driven pop courtesy of The Bulletproof Bomb and Model Aeroplanes, to electronic dancefloor vibes from EKKAH. See the full line up below if you need convincing.
Ekkah – Last Chance to Dance
Kyko – Dive In
Jerry Williams – I’m Not in Love With You
Fours – Fade to Love
Model Aeroplanes – Innocent Love (Live at R1’s Big Weekend)
The Bulletproof Bomb
Marsicans
Martin Luke Brown
Glass Peaks
Hows Harry
Jakl
Sasha Brown
If that wasn’t enough, the world’s favourite Bavarian aperitif Jagermeister will be on hand to spice up your round. So top marks to CloseUp. We’ll be there; the only question remaining is, will you? Last few tickets available now at: ticketweb.co.uk/closeupfestival
