Festival Guide: Arcadia

After last year's success, Arcadia is set to return to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

It’s back! Having dominated the East London skyline with its now-iconic spider structure last year, Arcadia returns to London’s Queen Elizabeth Park for its second year. Melting together spectacular visuals and state of the art sound, the festival – running from Saturday 4 until Sunday 5 May 2019 – promises a techno and bass heavy experience for lovers of all things Electronic, and those looking for a good time.

With Arcadia unveiling their stellar line-up, here’s a little more about things to come.

Arcadia

What’s Arcadia then?

If you’ve ever been to Glastonbury you would have encountered a ginormous spider-like structure pumping out pyrotechnics and the best Electronic music on offer. Well, the good people behind this incredible experience brought the spectacle to London for an unmissable two-day festival last May. It went so well, that now they are back to do it all over again.

Don’t just take our word for it though. Here’s what last year looked like:

Where’s it happening?

Once again, Arcadia will take to London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park – an epic backdrop for what will be another unbelievable weekender.

This year, the event is split into the techno-filled Saturday and the bass-heavy Sunday. Arcadia promises an eruption of roots, colour, energy and fire, all unfolding around the iconic megastructures.

Marking the only UK stop for the Spider, Arcadia will host the ever-evolving Metamorphosis show, as well as the return of The Reactor – a 360 degree immersive indoor experience.

Everything will be bigger, with new sculptures, new installations, and ground-breaking performances.

Who’s playing?
