Playlist: Jamie Rodigan

Jamie Rodigan is a young DJ, producer and MC who knows a thing or two about Dancehall tracks and getting the party going. He’s also an absolute gent who took the time to make us this pumping playlist. Mr. Rodigan…. we salute you.

You can catch Jamie spinning tracks in Brixton this Saturday alongside legendary Soul II Soul beatmaker Jazzie B among others. Get tickets to this poppin pay-day party here.

First, enjoy the playlist and impress your mates by sharing the tunes with them. Take it away Jamie Rodigan;

Popcaan – Ova Dweet

This is one of my favourite songs to drop in a party. It’s fun, melodic and always gets the vibe popping without doubt.

Jahmiel – Where Were You

Newcomer Jahmiel has broken through into the Dancehall scene in a big way gaining radio play on both commercial and underground radio. One of the biggest songs on the Cure Pain Riddim, ‘Where Were You’ resonates with the righteous and unruly ravers alike.

Alkaline – City

Last year Alkaline dropped a ton of big tunes but this was the standout song for me. ‘City’ never fails to get a big forward in the parties and proves Alkaline is hear to stay for 2017 and beyond.

Real Ting – Stefflon Don

Fellow East London resident Stefflon Don has been making big waves in the UK scene and this song is an absolute smasher. Taken from her new mixtape ‘Real Ting’ Stefflon Don is definitely one to watch for 2017.

Fever – Vybz Kartel

An instant classic from the Worl’ Boss! In recent times you can’t go to a Dancehall party and NOT hear this song. Big bassline, lyrical fire for the ladies and even some “Gypsy” language thrown in for good measure.

There you have it. Don’t forget to grab tickets for the gig at POW this weekend. Get them here >> www.ticketweb.co.uk/tdosouth
