1) Beth- Kiss.

Once every hundred years or so a song gets written which perfectly encapsulates what it’s like to be a touring musician who misses their sweetheart. In this case that song was written by a band that relies entirely on carnival face painting to stay relevant and cool.

2) Mother- Danzig

This song reminds touring musicians to call home more often as it uses the word “Mother” over 1,800 times. Heartwarming words from a guy that legitimately believes in werewolves.

3) Work- Rihanna

This song reminds the touring musician that you must stay vigilant on the road and work work work work work. Sure it’s fun work work work work work, but at the end of the day it’s still work work work work work.

4) Theme song from Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?- Rockapella

Sure people like to think that rockstar tour life is mostly about partying from city to city leaving a trail of broken hearts and empty bottles, it’s simply not the case. After the Eiffel tower was stolen in 1987 the world federation of musical gumshoes was founded to stop Carmen Sandiego from stealing anymore precious monuments.

5) anything by ■■■■■■■■■

Their music may be hard to find after successfully and permanently shutting down illegal music downloads on the internet forever and ever, but if you ever get the chance to rock out to “■■■■ ■■■ ■■■■■■” or “■■■■■” by ■■■■■■■■■ you know that party won’t stop!

6) Smashing Pumpkins

These sounds are truly only relevant to bands touring from October 6th-31st. They sound so cool!!

7) Wheels on the Bus- Verna Hills

Most musicians are not certified mechanics, this song keeps the touring musician’s automotive skills sharp in case of bus troubles. Remember folks, in instances the wheels fail to go round and round all through the town, you need to roll your sleeves up and get to work.

8) #67 (water pump) – 101 Zany Sound Effects

One of the best driving songs a touring musician could load onto their ultimate road playlist. The entire record start to finish is a masterpiece really, but if you’ve only got time to listen to one song, you had better make sure it’s this track!

9) Monster Mash- Bobby “Boris” Pickett

Nuff said

10) The Sound of Silence- Earplugs

Sometimes the only thing you want to listen to on the road is the sound of your own heartbeat bursting through your eardrums.
