Brief History –Directly underneath Wringer and Mangle in Hackney’s creative hub, Hangar was originally a Victorian laundry building and evolved into various art spaces and venues before becoming the epic party destination it is today. It’s exactly what a late night venue should be; a fuss-free industrial space concentrating on the quality of the music rather than over-the-top gimmicks.

How many people does it hold?

720

Who has played there?

Hangar has hosted everything from future sci-fi experiences, music videos and seminars but main highlights include Kerri Chandler, Raresh, Crazy P, Tove Lo, Horse Meat Disco, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Mobb Deep and Roger Sanchez.

Have there been any “I was there” moments?

We chatted to the head honchos at the venue and sets from Justice and Chase and Status were mega.
