Jade Bird is a London based singer-songwriter who’s about to swoop in to your life with her special voice and endearing acoustic-alternative sound.
Jade Bird is an incredibly versatile acoustic-alternative artist. She puts her own unique spin on all sorts of Folk, Country and Pop. Her remarkable song-writing ability allows her to breeze between genres and cleverly utilise her breath-taking voice.
She’s an attention grabbing performer to say the very least. Jade cites Civil Wars, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Son House, First Aid Kit and Chris Stapleton as her influences.
Jade Bird has arrived on the scene by way of Brit School, the young songstress has an impressive array of vocal and instrumental talent, and this has not gone unnoticed. She has supported London Grammar, Rag ‘N’ Bone Man and Tom Odell already in her very short stint as a recording artist. Jade is currently working on her debut EP, collaborating with producer Simone Felice.
BBC Introducing did what they do best and grabbed a hold of Jade Bird as soon as they heard of her. They wasted no time in booking her for shows in Manchester and London earlier this year. Jade Bird is playing British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park this July, the show is headlined by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers as well as Stevie Nicks, any association with these legends will certainly bode well for Jade’s already promising career.
