Inventive pop-rock 3-piece made up of singer-guitarist Joe Banfi , drummer Aaron Graham & bassist Chris McCuaig. Originally from the Cheshire Plain now firmly camped in London.
Individual the band come from pretty different musical backgrounds. Joe originally performed solo as a folk singer whilst Aaron has enjoyed a previous life as a session musician & Chris is a big country fan. That might sound like a whole mess o’ wrong but the result is some feverishly catchy indie-pop with some undeniably dance-able moments.
Check out the band’s brand new single below which singer Joe describes as “a love song based on those classic ‘run to the airport’ scenes near the end of films – only this time he’s too late”. Ouch.
In a turn of events that offers hope to aspiring musicians everywhere; Joe first came to the attention of (the band’s current label) Communion off the back of an unsolicited solo demo. Emboldened by a typically British session in the pub; the trio began working on the tracks that would form the basis of their early releases. Since that time the band’s live show has grown from strength to strength with support slots for Bear’s Den & Amber Run across the UK and Europe culminating in a career highlight set at Citadel.
