New Music: Ded Rabbit / Matt Grocott and The Shrives

Bands made up of brothers.  Always has the potential to divide the opinions of the nation (Jonas Brothers, anyone?) but here at TicketWeb Towers we’ve discovered one worthy of your attention.  Welcome into the room Ded Rabbit.

After a headline slot on the T Break Stage at T In The Park, a nomination for the ‘Best Live Act’ in the Scottish Alternative Music Awards and the release of their third EP of 2015, Moving In Slow Motion, the band are certainly on their way up.

Supporting them at their forthcoming London gig will be rising punk stars Matt Grocott & The Shrives. Hailing from the music mecca of Grantham (ok, that was a little exaggeration), the band formed after frontman Matt Grocott and lead guitarist Josh Horsfall recorded a full-length album at Jingletown Studios in Oakland, California in March 2014.  Featuring Joey Armstrong of Emily’s Army on drums, produced by his old man (the legendary Bille Joe Armstrong) and recorded by Grammy Award-winning engineer Chris Dugan, the band are in pretty good hands and a sure fire bet for future punk rock stardom.
