Allow me to introduce you to Edinburgh’s soon-to-be favourite music event. The brand new EH6 festival comes to Leith in October. Here’s what you need to know:
What’s EH6 then?
EH6 is a brand new music festival taking over Leith in Edinburgh for a jam-packed weekend of bands, beer, food and good times. The festival takes place on the 21st and 22nd of October. The festival will focus on showcasing new music with the added draw of some bigger names playing on both days. EH6 will be your one stop shop for discovering some awesome up and coming acts and the best talent Scotland has to offer.
But wait…. there’s more; as well as having a full program of all different kinds of live music – over 150 bands in more than 10 venues, EH6 also has children’s entertainment, comedy, a beer and spirits festival, craft stalls, art exhibitions, world food and a load of other.
Where’s it happening?
This multi-venue metropolitan music festival is happening in Leith, Edinburgh. The majority of the venues are in walking distance of Waverly station. The funky Woodland Creatures venue will be the festival’s hub of sorts. All venues are in Leith and no more than 15 minutes’ walk, away from each other, there’s also millions of busses that go down Leith Walk if you don’t feel like walking.
Check out the venues on the map below:
