Playlist: Tom Walker

Scottish born –  Manchester raised, multi-instrumentalist Tom Walker has had a pretty busy 2017 to date and it just got a whole lot bigger. He had a sold out headline UK tour in January, another huge UK and Ireland tour in May & guess what? He’s just announced his biggest tour to date kicking off in Leeds and finishing in London this November.

Tom’s an artist you need to see live, he’s crazy talented AND he’s a sound bloke too. Mr. Walker took the time to make us a playlist of some of his favourite tunes old & new. Here it is in all its glory:

Marcus Marr + Chet Faker – The Trouble With Us:

I only discovered the EP this track is from recently but had it on repeat since, definitely one to check out!

Foo Fighters – Everlong:

I’ve always been a huge Foos fan and saw them live as a kid with my Dad at the MEN Arena In Manchester. Unfortunately, I missed them at Glastonbury this year but got to watch the coverage backstage with Huw Stephens which was a great experience in itself.

George Ezra – Don’t Matter Now:

I had the honour of joining George on tour when he debuted this track live so it will always have a special place with me.

Arctic Monkeys – Ritz To The Rubble:

You can’t beat some old school Monkeys tunes but the bass line on this is a stand out for me.

Action Bronson – Baby Blue Feat. Chance The Rapper:

The Groove and flow on this track is next level, can never tire of having this on repeat, I love the subtle guitar licks too.

Flume + Andrew Wyatt – Some Minds:

Flume is just a genius, I would love to have to honour of working with him on something but until then I’ll just have to keep refreshing the inbox on a daily basis.

Thanks for that Tom you legend. Get presale tickets to Tom Walker’s UK and Irish tour right HERE
